VICE-PRESIDENT Mutale Nalumango says government cannot dismiss Local Government and Rural Development Permanent Secretary Nicholas Phiri because it never promised to fire him if ambulances were not delivered by May. She was responding to PF Lunte MP Mutotwe Kafwaya, who during the Vice-President’s Question Time in the National Assembly, asked why Phiri had not been fired after failing to fulfill his commitment that all 156 ambulances procured under the CDF would be delivered by May.
