ONE of the reasons why Mr Edgar Lungu lost elections in 2021 is because he was not able to explain his association with some people of questionable character. When asked what kind of business he was doing with suspicious businessmen who seemed to have influence over his life and leadership, the former president arrogantly said “it’s not a crime to have friends”.
