THE demand by Oil Marketing Companies Association of Zambia president Dr Kafula Mubanga, that the government must open up the TAZAMA pipeline to multiple users is timely and must be taken seriously. The call for open access to the pipeline and the involvement of multiple users is not a mere suggestion; it is a fundamental step toward mitigating the escalation of fuel prices.
