PARTY of National Unity and Progress (PNUP) president Highvie Hamududu says low income levels are leading to the public outcry about mealie meal prices. In an interview, Hamududu said if poverty levels were not high in the country, mealie meal prices would not be a topical matter. “The low income levels, that’s the real underlying problem. People have no jobs, they have no money, and therefore survival becomes very difficult. The problem is the high poverty levels.
