HEALTH Minister Sylvia Masebo says the maternity wings and mother’s shelters that will be constructed in Eastern and Southern Provinces will target to service 100,000 annually. Speaking during a signing ceremony of the MoH – Peace Health Maternity Annexes, Masebo said their goal was to complete the works by December 2023. “The goal of our ministry is to complete these works by December 2023. And once completed, the maternity wings and mothers’ shelters will serve a target population of approximately 100,000 people every year. They will increase the coverage of delivery and postnatal services in both Eastern and Southern Provinces.
