ECONOMIST Professor Oliver Saasa says Zambia should not aspire for debt cancellation, arguing that a sovereign country must have pride in meeting its obligations all the time. And Prof Saasa says the UPND government must tame its appetite for contracting sovereign debt and ensure that there is a clear economic recovery programme on how resources will be applied.
