HEALTH Minister Elijah Muchima says it’s unacceptable that despite ZAMMSA procuring drugs, big hospitals like UTH are still issuing prescriptions. Speaking during a tour of the University Teaching Hospital, Saturday, Muchima said the law would be tough on those found selling government drugs. “At UTH, people detest queues. They don’t like queuing, including prescriptions. Every time, ‘go and buy’. Medicines are there in compounds but here, there’s nothing. Meanwhile, ZAMMSA is busy buying. Where does the medicine go?
