FORMER energy minister Yamfwa Mukanga says nuclear energy is the best way to solve the country’s energy crisis, and not solar. Zambia’s energy crisis has forced government to look for alternatives, with solar energy seemingly the favoured option. However, Mukanga is of the view that only nuclear energy will sustain the country’s energy needs in the long term.
