INFORMATION and Media Minister Cornelius Mweetwa says former president Edgar Lungu is trying to negatively taint the eligibility proceedings as being politically motivated. Mweetwa says the UPND is not concerned with the outcome of Lungu’s eligibility case. During a press briefing on Tuesday, Lungu challenged President Hakainde Hichilema to face him and desist from using cowardly and dirty political schemes to bar him from participating in the 2026 elections.
