DEFENCE Minister Ambrose Lufuma says the Chinese government is set to construct 10 milling plants across the country. And Lufuma says the current power outages have not allowed for the frequent distribution of the Eagles mealie meal to vendors. Speaking when he appeared before the Parliamentary Committee on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Thursday, Lufuma said the Chinese had conducted pre-feasibility studies in order to identify where the milling plants would be located. “Kaoma is earmarked for a plant due to it being high in production of maize.
