THE Economic and Financial Crimes Court, High Court Division, has denied former president Edgar Lungu’s daughter, Tasila, leave to appeal its judgement forfeiting her Sinda farm to the state. On September 17, 2024, the High Court ordered the forfeiture of Tasila’s Sinda farm valued at K8,849,098 to the state, on grounds that it was a proceed of crime. Thereafter, Tasila sought leave of the court to appeal its judgement in the Court of Appeal.
