THE Mine Workers Union of Zambia (MUZ) says it is concerned about the continued high cost of living, worsened by load shedding and fuel price hikes, which has reduced miners’ living standards. The union says it expects government to implement policies to stabilise the cost of living, reduce the burden of load shedding, and control fuel price increases in 2025.
