THE Higher Education Authority (HEA) says it is concerned with the levels of resignations of academic staff at the Copperbelt University as it is compromising the quality of education at the institution. And the Authority has also raised a concern on the overcrowding of students in lecture halls. Speaking after carrying out an incidental audit, HEA Director General Professor Kazhila Chinsembu said 25 members of academic staff had resigned from CBU since January. “CBU is facing a major challenge and this challenge is that of staff exodus.
