FORMER Information and Media permanent secretary Amos Malupenga says the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) should be pushed into a position where it can operate independently without relying on Treasury funding. And Malupenga has described ZNBC as a “sleeping giant,” saying the institution has long had the capacity to be self-sustaining, particularly following the digital migration programme.
