THE Zambia national netball teams have announced their withdrawal from the prestigious 2025 Africa Netball Cup due to lack of financial backing. After successfully qualifying for participation into the continent’s biggest netball tournament, both the men’s and women’s teams have withdrawn from the 2025 Africa Netball cup after the governing association disclosed that they could not raise the K1,200,000 to support the team. This is not the first time the netball teams have had to withdraw from international competitions, the previous incident being their withdrawal from the world cup on similar premises. Netball Zambia, disclosed its efforts to lure partners on board but to no avail. The lack of adequate preparation by all stakeholders does not paint a good picture...
