GOVERNMENT has praised Chipata City Council for using the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to promote transparency by recognising journalists covering local development. Meanwhile, Local Government Minister Gift Sialubalo has encouraged journalists to be fearless in exposing the mismanagement of public resources, stating that the public deserves to know how funds are being distributed to all local authorities.
