AFTER years of learning under trees as well as in grass-thatched makeshift structures, pupils at Namankubaula Community School in Namwala District finally have a feel of sitting on desks in a modernised classroom. Before the school was given modern classroom structures, pupils used to sit on the ground while others would sit on bricks under a tree. Namwala Town Council Public Relations Officer Nchimunya Lukubi said the district, through CDF, has constructed a modern 1×2 classroom block and procured desks for Namankubaula school.
