MILES Sampa has withdrawn from the PF presidential race, stating that the majority of senior party leaders are against him. Sampa says that although he believes he can make the PF win, he has stopped playing politics of imposing himself on others. His withdrawal came a day after the Given Lubinda‑led PF failed to hold its convention, with no explanation offered to the public, reducing the number of presidential contenders to seven.
