POLICE in Lukulu district have arrested an 18-year-old grade 12 pupil for allegedly stealing 35 50kg bags of maize intended for the school feeding programme. According to a statement issued by Commissioner of Police Western Division Rae Hamoonga, Saturday, the suspect is believed to have stolen maize valued at K17,500, from the school’s storeroom.
