A TWO-storey K4 million classroom block is being constructed in Pemba to help increase the number of learners at Pemba Day Secondary School from over 800 to over 1,000. Headteacher Paul Hamangamba said the school will still apply for CDF assistance to construct an administration block and a science laboratory. “We have 860 learners, but with the completion of the high-rise classroom building, we will be able to increase the number to beyond 1,000. We had applied for a classroom block, a laboratory and an administration block, we have been given an ablution block and a water reticulation system.
