THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has convicted and sentenced a 47-year-old man to two months’ imprisonment for stealing two tins of Kiwi polish valued at K100 from Shoprite Checkers Zambia Limited. In this matter, Njungu Makai is charged with one count of theft contrary to Section 272 of the Penal Code, Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Particulars of the offence are that Makai, on February 24, 2026, in Lusaka, did steal two tins of Kiwi polish valued at K100.00, the property of Shoprite Checkers Zambia Limited.
