POLICE in Lusaka have arrested three male suspects in connection with an abduction case in Zanimuone West and Garden House areas. Kaunda, 24, reported that his 21-year-old wife had been abducted by unknown persons who demanded a K10,000 ransom for her release. Preliminary investigations reveal that the victim boarded a taxi heading to SOS area, and the suspects allegedly overpowered her, confiscated her mobile phone and handbag, and forced her to lie face down. Police Public Relations Officer Godfrey Chilabi explains that the abduction occurred on April 17, 2026, between 10:00 hours and 15:30 hours.
