EASTERN Province Police Commissioner Robertson Mweemba says police are investigating the whereabouts of a mayoral candidate who fled after allegedly submitting a forged Grade 12 certificate during the ECZ verification process. Mweemba has revealed that investigations have established that the individual previously served as a ward councillor under the PF, raising questions over how he managed to contest the seat using the same forged certificate.
