POLICE in Mazabuka District yesterday blocked Gary Nkombo from launching his campaign at Ndeke grounds and used teargas to disperse his supporters, stating that he was scheduled to be in a different place. Mazabuka District Police Deputy Officer Commanding Stable Chisonga said police informed the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) of its decision to suspend campaigns in Mazabuka central constituency yesterday and today for all aspiring candidates, to avoid confusion.
