THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested five more officials from the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock and preferred extra charges against three officials from the same ministry for corruption involving over K300 million. ACC Acting Head of Corporate Communication Chilufya Chisanga says the arrests relate to the ongoing probe into the gross misappropriation of part of the $10 million project funds intended for the Sustainable Livestock Infrastructure Management Project (SLIMP). The individuals arrested include Emmanuel Chilala, an accountant; Ackim Mwalilino, a senior livestock production officer; Henry Sichone, a principal livestock research officer; and Philip Sikazwe, a chief accountant.
