GOVERNMENT says the number of accidents occurring during night operations has remained relatively constant since the lifting of the night travel ban on buses and trucks. Government also says the revocation of the night ban has resulted in an increase in the number of transport companies moving their goods during the night. In April, government revoked the Statutory Instrument that prohibited night driving in a decisive move aimed at facilitating the implementation of the 24-hour economy.
