MINISTER OF Finance and National Planning Situmbeko Musokotwane says government has decided to extend the tax amnesty on tax penalties and interest obligations granted to taxpayers. Last week, Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) Director Research and Corporate Strategy Ezekiel Phiri said the authority had collected K2.6 billion from the Tax Amnesty exercise. Phiri said the response had been overwhelming since the exercise kicked off in October 2022 with over 7,000 applications accepted so far.
