LOCAL Government and Rural Development Minister Gary Nkombo has warned that all structures erected on top of the Bombay drainage will be demolished. Asked in the National Assembly by Kabwata UPND MP Andrew Tayengwa whether government had any plans to extend the Bombay Drainage Project in Chilenje ward and Jack compound, Nkombo blamed the PF for allowing structures to be built on top of the drainage. “I do appreciate the concern by the honourable member of parliament going by whatever we have experienced in the last few years when we have had above normal rainfall that has occasioned a lot of flooding.
