A 26 year old lab technician has been dragged to court for stealing one tinned fish and a bottle of ginger beer.
Pearson Chungu of Lusaka’s Matero Township is facing one count of theft.
Chungu is alleged to have stolen the said items from Shoprite in Matero between April 21 and July 23 2017.
The bottle of ginger beer and tinned fish were altogether valued at k74,49,00 the property of Shoprite.
He is yet to take plea before Lusaka magistrate Brian Simachela.
