A WITNESS in the matter in which PF acting president Given Lubinda is facing four counts of being in possession of property reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime yesterday failed to testify after he fell ill minutes before the court sitting could commence. When the matter came up for trial, Monday, the State informed the court that one witness who was before court, unfortunately, fell ill and was taken to the hospital. “Your honour, the matter was coming up for commencement of trial, however, one witness was before court but he has taken ill and has since been taken to the hospital,” the State informed the court.
