FORMER Kabushi PF member of parliament Bowman Lusambo could not take plea yesterday in the matter in which he is accused of being in possession of properties suspected to be proceeds of crime as he is still unwell. Lusambo’s lawyer told the court that his client was put on 10 days of bed rest. This is in a matter in which Lusambo is facing two counts of possession of property reasonably suspected of being proceeds of crime contrary to section 71 of the Forfeiture of Proceeds of Crime Act No. 19 of 2010.
