FDD president Edith Nawakwi has pleaded not guilty to four counts of threatening violence and abduction before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court. Allegations in count one are that Nawakwi, on dates unknown but between August 31, 2021 and September 1, 2022, in Lusaka, jointly and whilst acting together with other persons unknown, with intent to cause injury or alarm, threatened to kill Pheluna Hatembo to which she said, “I will kill you by chopping your head if you tell anyone whatever I discuss”.
