THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has dismissed an application for a Constitutional review in the High Court of whether former ministry of defence permanent secretary Stardy Mwale and five others were guaranteed a fair trial following President Hichilema’s address at the Judiciary Conference held on November 29, 2022. In this matter, Mwale is jointly charged with Isabel Chinji, Micheal Mbewe, Evaristo Sakala, Frank Sinyangwe and Dr John Phiri for the offence of willful failure to comply with the law in relation to the procurement of a presidential jet.
