A 22-YEAR-OLD woman of Lusaka has taken a fresh plea before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court and admitted the charge of child a stealing. Habiba Tembo is facing one count of child stealing Contrary to Section 171(1) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Particulars of the offence are that Habiba Tembo on November 28, 2022, in Lusaka, with intent to deprive Nasilele Sitwala, a mother who has the lawful care or charge of Nathaniel Banda, fraudulently did take away the said Nathaniel Banda, a child under the age of 16.
