A STATE witness has told the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court that US$250,000 was not transferred into Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane and Charles Milupi’s bank accounts as alleged by Munir Zulu. Michael Ilishebo, 45, a Police Detective Chief Inspector also told the court that Milupi also denied receiving US$150,000 from Zambia Road Development (ZDA) Board Chairperson Mulchad Kuntawala. This is in a matter where Zulu is accused of issuing defamatory remarks against Musokotwane, who is Finance Minister, his Infrastructure counterpart Charles Milupi and Kuntawala. Zulu, who is Lumezi Independent member of parliament, is facing three counts of libel.
