A FORMER director of procurement in the Ministry of Defence has told the court that he wanted to fight Stardy Mwale because the former permanent secretary had insulted him. Charles Lungu also told the court that everyone who took part in the meeting that led to the approval of awarding a contract on the modernisation of defence forces committed a crime. Lungu further said in 2023, he had a meeting with among others; Ministers Ambrose Lufuma, Frank Tayali, Mulambo Hamibe, and Jack Mwiimbu, discussing details of the procurement.
