ATTORNEY General Mulilo Kabesha has objected to an application for joinder by LAZ in the matter in which Matero PF MP Miles Sampa is challenging the Mopani deal. Kabesha has told the Constitutional Court that the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) will not be impartial in the proceedings based on its recent contradictory stance regarding government’s policies. Meanwhile, Constitutional Court Judge Mudford Mwandenga has referred LAZ’s application to the full court for determination on whether it should be heard by a single judge or all of the judges of the court.
