ATTORNEY General Mulilo Kabesha has submitted to the Lusaka High Court that the provisions of the Cyber Laws are constitutional and are reasonably justifiable in a democratic society. Kabesha has also submitted that the rights to privacy, freedom of expression, freedom of the press, freedom of conscience and freedom of association are not absolute. In July, the Law Association of Zambia filed a lawsuit against the government, challenging the constitutionality of the new Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Acts.
