Power Dynamos midfielder Godfrey Ngwenya has received a Zambia recall.
Ngwenya is one of 28 players who will go into camp this Sunday for a three-day training camp in Lusaka to prepare for Zambia’s 2018 CHAN first round qualifiers coming up in July against Swaziland.
The ex-Kabwe Warriors and Airtel Rising Stars prodigy returns to the Zambia fold for the first time since 2012 when he was spotted by ex-Chipolopolo coach Herve Renard.
Ngwenya has one cap he collected in Zambia’s 2-1 home win over Zimbabwe in a friendly match played on August 8, 2012 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Ngwenya moved to Power this season and has already cemented his place in the Kitwe sides starting XI scoring one goal so far in four competitive games.
