21 man Nkana football club has arrived in Khartoum, Sudan, ahead of the Confederations Cup final group match against Al Hilal on Sunday.
The club left Zambia for Sudan yesterday and landed in Khartoum today afternoon where Am Hilal officials welcomed them.
Nkana is currently top of the group on nine points followed by Al Hilal on eight and Asante Kotoko on seven point while Zesco who were knocked out, are bottom with four points only.
The Zambian club only needs a point to qualify to the quarter final stage of the competition and are currently favourites to do so.
The 21 Njkana players include goalkeepers Allan Chibwe and Kelvin Malunga. Defenders Ben Adama Banh, Joseph Musonda, Hassan Ramadhan, Musa Mohammed, Richard Ocran, Given Sinyangwe and Liason Thole. Midfielders include Duncan Otieno, Shadrick Malambo, Shadrick Musonda, Harrison Chisala, Jacob Ngulube, Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba, Obeddy Masumbuko, Simon Bwalya and Bwalya Kasonde. And the strikers are Ronald Kampamba, Walter Bwalya and Festus Mbewe.
