35-year old former Chipolopolo striker James Chamanga has continued to stun the super League with his scoring prowess despite being advanced in age.
Chamanga is using his experience playing in South Africa’s Premier soccer league, Chinese league and the super League to do what the vast majority of younger strikers have failed.
The former Zambian international now has seven goals in the league and is among the top scorers. He recently scored the equalising goal against Green Eagles, Saturday, at independence stadium.
Red arrows were down by a goal after eagles scored early on in the third minute. The Zambia National Service sponsored side was in control on the match until the 30th minute when Chamanga scored the equaliser in a 1-1 draw.
Red Arrows is still third on the log with 25 points while Green Eagles is still fifth with 20 points.
Chamanga is a seasoned striker who has played for several football clubs including Zanaco, City of Lusaka, National Assembly, Liaoning FC in China. Bush Bucks in South Africa, Supersport United and Moroca Swallows.
