THE Zambia Rugby Union (ZRU) is scouting for K1.5 million to meet the required budget for staging the 2023 Africa Women’s Rugby Sevens qualifiers set for Lusaka in July. Speaking in an interview yesterday, Director of rugby Noble Chisanga said the amount was for team preparations and logistical requirements for all the participating teams. Chisanga said Zambia was awarded hosting rights for the Africa Women’s Rugby seven 2023 qualifiers which are set to run from July 1-2.
