FAZ president Andrew Kamanga has called on the Shepolopolo technical bench to pick players on merit as it prepares for the FIFA Women’s World Cup set for Australia and New Zealand. Speaking in his weekly President’s Corner, Kamanga said the technical bench was guaranteed of getting the best out of players if it picked them on merit and not favours. The Copper Queens have a busy FIFA calendar that will take them to Turkey for three preparatory matches during the Turkish Cup from February 13-22.
