JUST when Zambian fans had given up on the athletes performance on the final day, the 4x400m relay teams stepped up to give a befitting closing performance to take the country’s medal tally to eight at the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) Games in Ndola. The U20 boys and girls team sprinted their lungs out to give the country some memories to forever cherish about the championship. In the men’s 4x400m final, the Zambian team comprising Adonai Bwalya, Thompson Mbewe, Henry Fulumaka and Martin Mwauluka amused fans with their performance which earned them a silver medal.
