FAZ General Secretary Reuben Kamanga has explained that Canada-based defender Aime Mabika is not appearing in the CAF provisional list owing to an injury. The US-bred Toronto FC center-back was named in coach Avram Grant’s 55-member squad that FAZ released last week. The defender was however missing on the provisional list released by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Wednesday. The towering defender last played for Toronto FC in October due to an injury.
