MINISTRY of Youth, Sport and Arts Permanent Secretary, Kangwa Chileshe, says government is thrilled with the noble contribution made by Chipolopolo striker Fashion Sakala, who sponsored a provincial football tournament in Eastern Province. Sakala spent K700,000 on this year’s Eastern Province Cup which was named after him in honour of his gesture. The Al-Fayha forward went further to donate 120 wheelchairs to the differently abled individuals in the province. Various stakeholders have nodded Sakala’s gesture, among them the Football Association of Zambia and government.
