DESPITE having endured a disappointing campaign at the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Kenya where Zambia exited the tournament without a single victory, the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has assured the nation that the Chipolopolo will bounce back stronger. FAZ vice president Mutale Ng’andu admitted that the results at the CHAN were below expectations but stressed that the lessons learnt will help players improve at both club and international level. “We know that the lessons from the CHAN are lessons the players will try to apply when they go back to their clubs,” Ng’andu said. “The CHAN, of course our objective was to identify talent but of course we need to win.
