A 62-year-old Lusaka man today committed suicide by jumping off the Findeco House.
According to a statement issued by police spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo today, the man, whose identity has been withheld “until his next of kin is informed”, was found with a smashed head.
“A male adult aged 62 of unknown residence jumped from one of the floors at findeco house and fell on a balcony and died instantly. He was found with a smashed head, fructured legs and hands,” stated Katongo.
“This occurred today 12th September, 2017 at 1720 hours at findeco house on Cairo road in town. The body of the deceased has been picked and has since been deposited in UTH mortuary. Particulars of the deceased person have been established based on the driving license but has been withheld until the next of kin is informed.”
