Kitwe Police on Tuesday arrested two ZNBC employees, a cameraman and a driver, for stealing digital migration equipment worth about K18,000.

ZNBC sources told News Diggers that Mathews Moono and a Mr Lukuma allegedly stole digital migration cables which were 30 meters long.

But Copperbelt police commissioner Charity Katanga refused to give details, saying ZNBC was in a better position to give out information.

“Call ZNBC, they are also affected so they will be able to give details. It is their issue so the public relations officer should be in a position to issue a statement,” said Katanga.

Efforts to get a comment from the ZNBC Kitwe public relations office proved futile as they were unreachable.
