THE UPND yesterday announced the adoption of 21 parliamentary candidates from various constituencies. Speaking to journalists, Party chairman for elections Gary Nkombo said the party had adopted Jack Mwiimbu for Monze Central, while lawyer Mulambo Haimbe had been adopted to stand on the Lusaka Central seat. Nkombo sad the party had dropped Livingstone member of Parliament Mathew Jere and adopted Rodney Sikumba. He further stated that the party had adopted UPND chairperson for mobilisation Sylvia Masebo to stand on the Chongwe seat while former Lusaka deputy mayor Potiphar Tembo had been adopted to stand on the Chawama seat.
